Your responsibilities

The successful candidate will be required to fulfil the job as summarised below, but not limited to:
Contract and Project Related Activities

• Analyse tender and/or contract documentation for project scheduling requirements.
• Provide change management information to the Project Change Manager to support change and claim management processes.
• Review the draft schedule with the responsible team members.
• Analyse the schedule and report on schedule risk and schedule contingency recommendations.
• Investigate and interrogate the project team to establish progress information, risk requirements and other factors which may influence the project delivery schedule.
• Prepare analysis of the updated schedule and project progress with reporting to the project manager on changes, concerns, schedule risk profile and other pertinent schedule related matters.

General Department Duties

• Develop high quality and bid compliant schedules for bid preparation.
• Develop, update and maintain schedules for project execution.
• Analyze and report time-critical activities and project progress.
• Provide schedule-based forecasts.

Quality

• Maintain a high quality of service, support and professional output.
• Develop and maintain best working practices for an efficient and cost-effective Project Management Office.
• Identify any areas where improvements to service delivery are possible.

Internal and External Client Relations

• Liaise courteously with customers, suppliers and internal colleagues and give professional advice where necessary.
• Maintain an optimal level of service in a warm and friendly environment.

Health and Safety

• Adhere to OSH requirements regarding safe operation of equipment and personal safety

Your profile

Education
3 year` Technical qualification with an engineering background.
Additional educational Requirements

• Microsoft Office, knowledge of SAP would be an advantage
• Primavera and MS Projects

Work Experience

• Minimum of 10 years relevant experience in executing E / EP / EPCm / EPC contracts, preferably in the oil and gas, chemical and energy environments
• Experience in scheduling tasks including schedule development, update and maintenance incl. related analysis and reporting.

Experience in operating the scheduling tools and interfaces between scheduling tools and lower-level control tools
