Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Trainer to lead the development and execution of comprehensive training programs across our retail chain. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and assessing training initiatives that align with Cash Crusaders' business goals and ensure our employees are equipped with the necessary skills to excel in their roles.
Key Responsibilities
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Trainer to lead the development and execution of comprehensive training programs across our retail chain. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and assessing training initiatives that align with Cash Crusaders' business goals and ensure our employees are equipped with the necessary skills to excel in their roles.
Key Responsibilities

Training Program Development:
- Design and develop training programs and materials, including workshops, e-learning modules, and on-the-job training sessions.
- Customize training content to suit different roles within the retail chain, from entry-level staff to management.

Delivery of Training:
- Conduct engaging and interactive training sessions across multiple store locations throughout South Africa.
- Utilize a variety of training methods to accommodate different learning styles and ensure retention of information.

Assessment and Evaluation:
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through assessments, feedback, and performance metrics.
- Continuously improve training content and delivery based on feedback and changing business needs.

Coaching and Mentorship:
- Provide one-on-one coaching and mentorship to staff members, particularly those in supervisory or management roles.
- Develop leadership development programs to prepare staff for advancement within the company.

Collaboration:
- Work closely with store managers and the HR department to identify training needs and priorities.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure training programs align with company objectives and initiatives.

Reporting and Documentation:
- Maintain accurate records of training activities and employee progress.
- Prepare regular reports on training outcomes and present findings to senior management.

Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in education, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is advantageous.
- Relevant certifications in training and development (e.g., CPTD, CIPD) are a plus.

Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a training or development role, preferably within the retail sector.
- Proven experience in designing and delivering training programs to diverse audiences.
- Experience in using modern training tools and technologies, including e-learning platforms.

Skills:
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong organizational and project management abilities.
- Ability to motivate and inspire staff at all levels.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and learning management systems (LMS).
- Analytical skills to assess training effectiveness and employee performance.
