As the Shipping Document Controller, you will be responsible for all shipping documents (imports and exports) to Africa.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing commercial invoices and packing lists.
• Preparing documents for letter of credit.
• Ensuring correct issuing of bills of lading and other documents.
• Tracking of containers and shipping documents.
• Confirming and amending documents with the factory.
• Updating the status report.
• Sending original shipping documents to clients for clearance at destination.
• Liaising with bank, clients, factory, regional offices.

You will need to have a matric and a logistics qualification with at least 7 years’ experience in a logistics environment, in a similar role.
