Spanish Speaking Travel Specialist | Luxury Travel Group

Key Responsibilities:
- Craft creative, out-of-the-box leisure FIT tailor-made itineraries.
- Manage the reservations process, from handling bookings to finalizing details, including invoicing and travel documents.
- Ensure strict adherence to turnaround times according to standard operating practices.
- Proactively sell products and services to create the best possible itineraries for guests.
- Maintain consistent, clear communication with colleagues, agents, operators, guests, and suppliers.
- Uphold the values of Care for People, Land, and Wildlife.

Knowledge:
- Strong understanding of delivering excellent service to agents and guests.
- In-depth knowledge of Tourplan or a similar booking system.
- Comprehensive understanding of WETU.
- Extensive geographical, logistical, and product knowledge of South, Southern, and East Africa.
- Fluent in both verbal and written Spanish (preferably South American Spanish).

Skills:
- Excellent communication skills with a strong command of English.
- Proficient in time and desk management, with an ability to work in an orderly, focused manner.
- Capable of working under pressure while showing initiative.
- Attention to detail with a knack for elaborating on explanations or descriptions.
- Client/guest-focused with a calm and professional manner.
- Must be computer literate with in-depth knowledge of Word and Excel.
- An independent, curious, and “can-do” attitude.

Experience:
- 3-5+ years of inbound tour operating experience.
- Extensive DMC knowledge of at least two regions: South Africa, Southern Africa, or East Africa.
- The successful candidate should have an enquiring mind, be methodical, creative, and able to work under pressure.
