P13661 Technician: Microbiology - NRL Centurion Technician: Microbiology - NRL Centurion 2024/09/13 2024-08-30 Ampath National Reference Laboratory Ampath National Reference Laboratory Full-Time 40 5 day Work Week (South Africa) To process specimens according to set criteria and standards on all the benches in the Microbiology Laboratory Certificate: Medical Technician (Required), HPCSA registration: Supervised Practice Microbiology (Required), HPCSA Registration in Relevant Register and Practice Field (Required) Experience in pathology laboratory environment, Knowledge: Ampath Microbiology document system, Knowledge: HPCSA regulations, Knowledge: Occupational Health and Safety Act (OSHA) Maintain good client relations to promote the image of Ampath, Perform general tasks in order to assist with maintaining best practice within the laboratory, Perform receiving and resulting tasks on the Meditech system in order to ensure correct handling, preparing and recording of specimen and results, Perform Serological identification typing tasks in order to ensure effective processing and resulting of serological bacterial typings, Process specimens on the benches in order to ensure sufficient delivery of results.
