ROLE SUMMARY:

You will be reporting into both the global team and the Head Office in Spain, consisting of the Global Senior Brand Marketing Manager, the CEO of Spain and the Head of Marketing in Spain. You will be responsible for developing, executing and reporting on the marketing plans for the schools in your region. These plans will cover offline, digital, brand and PR channels. The role requires collaboration with various departments to drive enrolment and improve student retention for the schools.

To be successful in this role, you should have experience in a fast-paced marketing team, including media buying, and be up to date with the latest marketing trends to deliver best-in-class campaigns. Strong critical thinking and market analysis skills are essential, as well as experience working with specialized teams across various marketing areas. The ability to create spreadsheets for data tracking and analysis is also important. Additionally, you should be capable of briefing a core team that may not be familiar with the Spanish market, ensuring they understand the market dynamics effectively.

Energy, confidence and excellent communication skills are essential to align all stakeholders with the marketing objectives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Conduct activities to communicate the business value proposition to existing customers and new leads.
  • Build and drive the annual marketing plan for each school.
  • Provide key data and insights on a weekly/monthly/quarterly basis to the Senior Brand Manager, the local CEO and the Head of Marketing.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of brand campaigns by collaborating closely with the central Marketing team, particularly the Digital team and Creative Studio.
  • Proactively suggest actions to improve plans and performance based on analysis of data.
  • Research and analyse market data to understand the target audience and the best ways to reach them through a variety of media channels.
  • Monitor media trends and keep the marketing team up to date on industry innovation.
  • Support schools with their Retention Programs.
  • Oversee brand guidelines and ensure adherence to maintain brand integrity in all communications and materials.
  • Ensure effective brand communication both internally and externally across all schools in the portfolio to reinforce brand values and mission.
  • Collaborate with creative teams to develop marketing content and promotional materials that align with brand messaging.
  • Manage the website and digital platforms, serving as the main contact with the Head of School and Admission team for any collateral or website changes. Ensure these channels effectively represent the schools and collaborate with the central team on improvements.
  • Build strategic relationships with external stakeholders and media partners, focusing on press management and leading best-in-class outdoor and offline media buying.
  • Lead and manage budgets across key media channels including offline, PR and brand with KPI & RO.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

  • Proficient in both English and Spanish.
  • Between 2-3 years of experience executing marketing plans, ideally in a multi-national marketing environment.
  • A willingness to learn and great attention to detail.
  • Customer-oriented, with a focus on delivering excellence to both internal and external clients.
  • Versatile marketer comfortable managing both operational and strategic tasks, with a hands-on approach to tackle various challenges and the ability to work independently without micromanagement.
  • Critical thinking skills - the ability to interpret data and identify actionable insights.
  • Advanced level of Microsoft Office tools – especially Excel and Power Point.
  • Proven track record of developing successful marketing plans
  • Data-driven decision approach.
  • Outstanding organisational skills and excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to conform to strict deadline-oriented projects and work well in fast fast-paced environment.
