Our client, a world's leading steel and mining company, is looking for a data engineer profile to join the R&D department of the group and more specifically the team in charge of the digital platform.


MISSIONS

As a Data Engineer, you will implement solutions for processing and prepare large amont of data for data scientists within projects for any domain. You will be involved in the following activities :

• Work closely with data scientists to set up collection, preparation and provision of data.
• Implement and optimize all pipelines to automate at the most the processes.
• Ensure stability and security of systems.

ACADEMIC SPHERE
You hold a Master/Engineer degree with a strong technical background in computer science domain with at least 3 years of proven experience as a data engineer preferably in industrial domain.

TECHNICAL SPHERE

• Programming skills in at least one of the following languages: Python (top priority), Java, Scala or SQL.
• Good experience using big data technologies such as Spark, Flink and No SQL databases.
• Good knowledge of cloud technologies : Azure (top priority) but AWS or GCP ok.
• Proven experience or knowledge with Azure Databricks is a real plus.
• High proficiency in English, Spanish is welcome but not mandatory nevertheless with desire to learn it to socialize.
