We are looking for a talented and highly organised freelance Community Manager to nurture and grow our client’s online communities for the Portuguese and Spanish markets. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working with healthcare brands that require and will be a passionate advocate for community engagement, with excellent communication skills and a knack for building relationships.
As a Community Manager, you will be responsible for fostering a positive and inclusive community culture, driving engagement, and facilitating meaningful interactions among members.
Responsibilities
Content Strategy Development:
- Propose monthly content schedules tailored to different business units across various social media platforms, leveraging performance insights for optimal engagement.
- Execute and manage the timely publication of content, ensuring a consistent and engaging presence across platforms.
- Upon receiving the content, translate this to any required languages (Portuguese and Spanish in this case), and adapt it to the culture of the local market so that it resonates with the target audience in the new language and culture.
- Ensure that factors such as nuances in culture, tone, context, and idiomatic expressions are taken into account to ensure that the message remains effective and culturally relevant for each market.
- Maintain, support, and foster growth within various online communities, engaging with users on a daily basis and addressing their queries and concerns.
- Contribute to the creation and maintenance of a positive brand image, ensuring alignment with client expectations.
- Perform daily monitoring and notification of pharmacovigilance cases, demonstrating a strong sense of responsibility and understanding of the critical nature of this task.
- Assist the content and design teams, providing support in their tasks to ensure a cohesive and visually appealing online presence.
- Contribute insights and support to the strategy team, aligning community management efforts with overarching business goals.
Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience as a Community Manager or similar role, with a strong understanding of community management best practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate ideas clearly and effectively.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Experience with social media management and community platforms (e.g., Facebook Groups, Reddit, Discord, etc.).
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to track and measure the success of community initiatives.
- Passion for building communities and fostering meaningful connections.
