Marketing Operations Lead - SaaS

The Alpega Group is looking for a Marketing Operations Manager to lead and optimize our marketing growth strategies across brand awareness, demand generation, ABM and customer retention. In this role, you will manage a team of four and be responsible for driving operational excellence across our marketing initiatives, ensuring seamless execution, measurement, and optimization of campaigns targeting SMBs, mid-market, and enterprise segments to maximize ROI and support business growth. This role will be based in Barcelona, Spain.

ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a dynamic and data-driven
Key Responsibilities:
  • Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and develop a team of four marketing operations professionals and foster a collaborative and high-performance culture that supports the team’s growth and success.

    • Sr Marketing Automation Manager
    • Jr Marketing Automation Manager
  • Marketing Tech Stack Management: Own and optimize the marketing technology stack, including Hub Spot and Salesforce, to ensure seamless data integration, campaign execution, and performance tracking.
  • Marketing Automation: Oversee the development and execution of marketing automation strategies to nurture leads, drive engagement, and enhance the customer journey. Ensure automation processes are efficient, scalable, and aligned with business objectives.
  • Paid Campaign Management: Oversee the planning, execution, and optimization of paid marketing campaigns across various channels (e.g., Google Ads, social media, display networks) to drive lead generation and conversion.
  • Campaign Operations: Collaborate with marketing, sales, and product teams to design, execute, and analyze marketing campaigns across various customer segments (SMB, mid-market, enterprise). Ensure campaigns are aligned with business objectives and drive pipeline growth.
  • Data Management and Analysis: Oversee data quality, segmentation, and management across all systems. Develop CMO dashboards and reports to provide insights into campaign performance, lead generation, and ROI.
  • Process Optimization: Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness in marketing operations. This includes automating workflows, enhancing lead scoring models, and optimizing lead handoff processes between marketing and sales.
  • Salesforce & Hub Spot Integration: Ensure seamless integration between Hub Spot and Salesforce, maintaining data integrity and enabling accurate tracking of the customer journey from lead generation to conversion.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with sales, customer success, and product teams to align marketing operations with broader company goals. Act as a liaison between marketing and sales to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Compliance and Governance: Ensure all marketing operations are compliant with data privacy regulations such as GDPR and others. Maintain best practices for data governance and usage within the marketing team.
  • Training and Enablement: Provide training and support to marketing and sales teams on the use of Hub Spot, Salesforce, and other tools to maximize the effectiveness of their campaigns and reporting.


WHAT WE LOOK FOR IN YOU
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in marketing operations, preferably in a Saa S environment.
  • Proven experience in managing and developing a team, with strong leadership skills.
  • Deep expertise in Hub Spot and Salesforce, including integration and data management.
  • Strong experience in marketing automation, including the design and execution of automated workflows.
  • Experience managing paid marketing campaigns across various digital channels.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Proven track record of optimizing marketing processes and improving operational efficiency.
  • Experience working across SMB, mid-market, and enterprise segments.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally.
  • Knowledge of data privacy regulations and best practices in marketing compliance.
  • Fluent in English is a MUST.
