What are we looking for?
We are looking for a QA Automation Engineer working close to one of our main clients in asset management sector.

Main tasks and accountabilities will be:

• Work in a team that is responsible for developing and testing existing and new features to the product suite following an Agile methodology, delivering value to users.
• You will be actively participating in the refinement of user stories before sprints, to identify the testing scenarios, so that it can flow naturally into the feature-files for automation.
• You can work collaboratively with your developers to identify which scenarios are best covered by unit tests and decoupled tests, versus what should be implemented by you into the integrated test framework.
• Test scenarios will be contributed into the test repositories into relevant feature files and submitted for Pull Requests, so that they are submitted to the declarative BDD standards set by our QA team, after first being reviewed within your team.
• When the scenarios are accepted, you will be actively automating those scenarios using our established C# based framework that uses Spec Flow, alongside Selenium for UI automation, and Rest Sharp for API automation. Aiming to finish the automation in parallel with development activities.
• You will be responsible for the execution of the automated tests, ensuring that they run successfully in your team environments and higher-level environments of QA, Staging and Production. This means that you have deeply considered your test data strategy as part of your test implementation approach.
• You will support the wider QA team in getting a deployment out. This will include ensuring the test automation has executed and you supporting on manual testing activities where needed.
• Work with other Senior QA Engineers to implement new best practices, design patterns and technologies.

What UST expects from you?

• Ability to translate requirements into test scenarios using BDD / Gherkin syntax in a declarative format
• 4+ years of experience
• Experienced in driving quality as part of a Scrum team and wider communities
• Must have significant automation tests experience using C#, with Specflow
• Proven experience in writing automation tests for web applications, RESTful API services (including contract testing)
• Experience with good development practices (repository management tools (git), versioning, clean code, package management)
• Test execution and reporting (manual and automated)
• Selenium or Playwright experience
• Using source-control tools such as git
• Desirable Requirements: Financial Services
• Good english level (B2-C1) you will be working with international teams.

Valuable and desirable: being entitled of Disability Certificate (at least 33% score).

Work Location
100% remote within Spain.

Work schedule
Business Hours. No intensive working days for friday or summer.
On calls: couple of hours every one or 2 months.
