We are seeking an experienced and proficient Senior Business Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a robust blend of business analysis and technical acumen, with a proven track record of working closely with engineering teams on platform and product-related projects. This role requires a deep understanding of both business processes and technical development, enabling the successful candidate to bridge the gap between stakeholders and technical teams effectively.
This is a hybrid role and based from our office in Madrid.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive needs analyses to identify business and technical requirements for new initiatives and enhancements to existing systems.
• Work closely with product managers, engineers, and partners to define and prioritize project scopes, objectives, and deliverables.
• Translate business needs into technical specifications, creating clear and actionable documents for the development team.
• Support the implementation of technical solutions, ensuring they meet business requirements and align with project goals.
• Facilitate communication between business units and technical teams, ensuring alignment and understanding of project goals and progress.
• Conduct post-implementation reviews to evaluate outcomes and identify areas for improvement.
• Drive process excellence initiatives to enhance business efficiency and effectiveness within a technical environment.
• Act as a liaison to ensure seamless integration of business and technical aspects in project delivery.
• Promote best practices in business analysis, ensuring the continuous improvement of processes and methodologies.
• Support cross-functional projects by working closely with both business and technical teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or another relevant role.
• Proven experience working with engineering teams and understanding of software development life cycles (SDLC).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex business needs into technical requirements.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
• Familiarity with business process improvement and process re-engineering techniques.
• Knowledge of programming languages.
• Certifications such as CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional) or PMI-PBA (PMI Professional in Business Analysis).
