Internship

Do you have a passion for travelling and getting to know different cultures and countries? Do you like to organize trips and do you have a background in tourism and/or event management? Then this internship is the perfect combination of both! From the beautiful city of Stockholm, you will be supporting the company in planning, organizing and operating tours.
You will take care of bookings (i.e. editing, cancelling, cross-checking, preparing name lists and travel documents etc.). In addition you will be responsible for creating new offers and you will be the contact person for clients and partners. Furthermore, you will be in charge of keeping the database program up-to-date (incl. registration of new suppliers & customers, updating prices and conditions). You will also have the chance to create new excursions (how awesome!) and join sight inspections. Last but not least, you have the chance to work on your own projects in consultation with your supervisor.

Profile Student

We are looking for a student with a background in tourism or event management. Someone who is open-minded and an outgoing person that is not shy to interact with people from different backgrounds and countries. You can think out of the box and you are not afraid to share your (adventurous) ideas.

Daily tasks

1. Bookings (book, cancel or edit bookings):

• Cross check details within existing bookings
• Register and save confirmations / cancellation confirmations
• Take responsibility for queues being actioned when needed
• Help solving booking problems (waitlists, changes)
• Enter, edit and send name lists to suppliers
• Help prepare travel documents / vouchers

2. Help create offers (PCM):

• Phone suppliers, make preliminary bookings
• Take responsibility for queues for preliminary bookings and follow up

3. Database Maintenance:

• Register suppliers (creditors) and customers (debtors) in the company’s database Tourplan (TP)
• Create services including descriptions and update prices and conditions of suppliers in TP

4. Product Development:

• Together with supervisor work on (potential) new destinations for the department
• Join site inspections if requested by supervisor

5. Documentation:

• Create or edit manuals for future trainees/employees
• Create or change vouchers, flyers and invitations for the department
