SAP Procurement Functional Expert

The purpose of the Industrial domain is to deliver digital solutions supporting the creation and life cycle management of the product, as well as the order-to-delivery value stream. From customer order, production planning, manufacturing execution to delivered car, we secure the industrial flows with smart digital solutions.
Within the Digital Procurement Team, we are responsible for the E2E Procurement digital solutions covering; Supplier Management, Strategic Sourcing, Contract & Ordering, where Sustainability will be a guiding star throughout the process. New solutions and critical capabilities are stepwise established according to the cycle plan to enable the next step in Polestar’s growth.
This position is located at our Lindholmen office in Gothenburg, Sweden. We believe in a hybrid model when it comes to remote and onsite work, knowing that both in-person collaboration and individual time to focus are needed. What matters most is that people get the time, and support, to do what needs to be done. And to enjoy doing it, of course.

The responsibilities

Work on functional/technical implementations of the new digital solutions within the Procurement area (based on for example SAP S/4 Direct Procurement solutions for Automotive) where you shall gather the business requirements, configure, test and deploy the landscape in close collaboration with our partners.
Support our Operations partner in monitoring and troubleshooting of the SAP environment within your area of expertise.
Continuously seek improvement and efficient solutions and operations together with other Polestar functional teams and partners
Contribute to the evolution of the digital organization

The ideal candidate

You promote free thought and is energized by ideas from others in the team. You have proven experience working in a global context, knows agile development and you quickly see the holistic picture. In addition, you'll need the following qualifications:

Have a minimum of +5 years of experience within the functional implementation of SAP (preferable in S/4 Procurement Modules and/or Ariba)
Experience in supporting SAP implementations in various phases from requirements gathering, to functional design, configuration, testing and deployment
Advantage if you have also been working in a support organization before
Good understanding of the Procurement business processes is key
Experience in Agile Development and basic knowledge about JIRA
Bachelor’s degree from a university or similar
