What is Software Flow?
Software Flow is the backbone of our development process, committed to providing a state-of-the-art build system that constantly tests and integrates our software into production vehicles. Our mission is to ensure that every change to our product—crucial to our Autonomous Driving and Advanced Driver Assist Systems—is rebuilt and tested with precision. To achieve this, we leverage cutting-edge technologies like Bazel and its remote action caching to significantly accelerate our development cycles. Additionally, we create and maintain internal tooling to further optimize and automate these processes, enabling our engineers to focus on innovation rather than manual tasks. In essence, Software Flow delivers a seamless, efficient, and robust development environment that empowers our teams to push the boundaries of what's possible in autonomous driving technology.
Your mission and day-to-day tasks

Influence and Grow: Take part in shaping both our roadmap and your career trajectory.
Enhance Developer Experience: Collaborate with our team to improve our CI environment and overall developer experience.
Own the Process: Operate projects from initial ideation to production, ensuring reliability, performance, and availability.
Mentorship and Collaboration: Mentor and support team members, contribute to design discussions, and work closely with the team to develop innovative solutions.

Qualifications & experience
Essential experience

Minimum of three years of relevant work experience or a Ph D
Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python preferred; familiarity with Go, C, C++, Rust, Haskell, etc., is also relevant)
Experience managing projects from requirements gathering to delivery
Experience writing clean, robust, and performant software that is easily maintained by others
Capability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Valuable additions

Familiarity with the Bazel build system
Familiarity with remote execution systems
Experience with developing software that runs in Cloud
Experience designing software systems
Experience with declarative software configuration methodologies (Ia C, Git Ops, Nix)
Experience with continuous integration tools and pipelining. Extra credit if running in an orchestration system like K8s.
