About the Role:
You will become part of a team of skilled developers and engineers and be a key member contributing to the development and success of Icomera’s Video Analytics Systems.
In this role you will be designing, developing, and testing a modern state of art video analytics system for public transportation, such as our AI-based Passenger Counting system.
You will also be working in the Icomera video analytics lab configuring and testing new state-of-the art hardware and software.

Location and work dynamics:
The position is based in our Gothenburg office at Odinsgatan 28 in central Gothenburg, a few minutes’ walk from the central station. At Icomera, we apply a hybrid work environment with the majority of working hours at the office.

Key responsibilities

• Developing new object detection modules and Po C running onboard trains in real-time.
• Annotate data, building data-sets, training & evaluating deep-learning models.
• Configure our Passenger Counting System for new customers.
• Take part in planning, deployment, and verification of customer project deployments for public transport in Europe and North America.

Required Competence:

• Bachelor degree in IT or Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
• Excellent communication skills in English, Swedish is meritorious.
• Strong experience of Python.
• Experience in AI software development.
• Linux Knowledge.
• Experience in some cloud services, like Amazon AWS or Azure.
• Familiar with Python deep learning / computer vision libraries such as Pytorch, Tensorflow, CV2, etc.

It is meritorious if you have any of the skills below:

• Previous work experience within Computer Vision.
• Experience in training deep learning AI models, including building data-set and annotating data.
• Specific experience within Object detection & Object tracking.
• Experience of computer networks (TCP/IP, UDP, Firewalls).
• Previous work experience with IP cameras / Real-time streaming.

To thrive in this role, you are a skilled developer with soft skills who enjoys working in a dynamic international company. You have previous working experience within Software development, Computer Vision and experience of Linux environments.
