Your Opportunity
As a Procurement Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in leading the procurement activities in the Nordic Countries. You will research the market to identify potential suppliers, run sourcing activities to deliver cost savings and negotiate contracts with suppliers.
Key Responsibilities
In the role as a Procurement Specialist, you will be responsible for the following but limited to:

• Strategic sourcing activities for the Nordics
• Compete suppliers for new and existing business and identify opportunities for national agreements to leverage spend with fewer suppliers
• Hold regular business reviews with strategic suppliers
• Deliver performance management activities as well as lead supplier evaluations
• Develop close working relationships with internal stakeholders in the Sibelco Nordic cluster teams to influence decisions & achieve procurement goal and objectives
• Implement procurement policies and procedures
• Ensure the Procurement Policy, MICS, Guidelines are implemented in the Nordics
• Provide strategic procurement support and insights to operations and commercial teams within the Nordics
• Ensure all processes comply with global compliance standards and regulatory requirements
• Follow up market trends, competition strategy and innovations ensuring the best value for Sibelco
• Maintain metrics and analyze data to assess performance and implement improvements
• Promote the use of EDI, e-invoicing and other tools to automate processes
• Follow up market trends, competition strategy and innovations ensuring the best value for Sibelco

What We’re Looking For

• 3-5 years’ experience as a buyer/senior buyer or similar role in a multi-site organization
• Advanced analytical skills and proficiency in Excel is essential (e.g., pivot tables).
• Familiarity with SAP is an advantage
• Excellent interpersonal and problem- solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
• Strong logical thinking skills, high attention to detail & accuracy
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Strong sense of accountability as well commitment
• Willingness to travel within Sweden and across the Nordics as required
• Proficiency in English and fluency in one of the Scandinavian languages
