We are supporting a Swiss private bank in the Zurich area in their search for an Business Analyst / Project Manager in Trading.

Remote work from abroad is not possible.

Tasks

• Act as a business analyst and project manager in the redesign / implementation of market making, trade position management, lifecycle management, risk management and trade booking systems
• Analyze and document existing processes / workflows and propose and review necessary changes in the context of IT architectural changes
• Write features and user stories in alignment with product owners / management and business stakeholders
• Break down features and business stories into technical stories and tasks and specify them togheter with technical stakeholders
• Conduct interface analysis and specifications togheter with IT stakeholders
• Plan the execution of stories and tasks, track their implementation progress and support the implementation progress
• Test, control and document the implementation of stories an tasks, align the result with stakeholders, especially on the business side
• Act as interface to various stakeholders (Product Management and Product Owners, IT, IT Architects, Traders, Sales, Tresaury, Mid/Back Office, Risk Management)
• Drive change management (changing setups, changing user interfaces) by leading and managing the relevant stakeholders

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in finance, economics or a related field
• At least 8 years work experiences in the trading area as project/process manager or product owner/manager
• Having some previous experience in a trading role and being used to closely work togheter with traders on a trading floor is beneficial
• In-depth knowledge in one or several trading asset classes (Equities, Equities Derivaties, Fixed Income, Interest Derivates, FX Cash & Derivaties, Structured Products Physical Precious Metals)
• Proven experience to redesign, implement and integrate trading, position, risk and market making systems on the trading floor, experience with sales applications
• Experience to manage backlogs, user stories and familiarity with agile methodologies, incl. knowledge of product management tools such a Jira, Confluence, Miro
• Good understanding of IT and experience to closely collaborate with IT stakeholders
• Fluency in English and good knowledge in German

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively with cross functional teams and steakholders
• Fast understanding of big picture topics, paired with attention to details whenever required in terms of technical specifications and interface definitions
