Are you a dynamic and detail-oriented professional ready to take on the exciting challenge of supporting our procurement team? We are seeking a Buyer to join our team and ensure the availability of materials at the best prices, while focusing on inventory reduction and turnover objectives.


Your main responsibilities will be:

• Proactively exchange information with Demand Planning or Account Management teams.
• Execute purchase orders from qualified suppliers based on specifications established by Lead Buyers.
• Purchase materials according to MRP suggestions, ensuring alignment with strategic purchasing conditions.
• Ensure order confirmations are sent, followed up on, and renegotiated as needed.
• Monitor deliveries and provide arrival forecasts.
• Focus on inventory reduction and meeting turnover targets, minimizing excess inventory risks.
• Collaborate with the Supplier Quality Manager to address non-conformities related to received components.

Mandatory:

• Proficiency in purchasing/sourcing.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Proficient in MS Office tools (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Excellent spoken and written knowledge of Italian and English.
• Good verbal and written communication and negotiation skills.
• Flexibility and ability to handle stress and changing priorities.
• Methodical and precise with a cooperative and helpful attitude towards teammates.
• Team player with a good level of autonomy and reliability.

Counted as an advantage:

• Technical skills in electronics.
• Experience in sourcing materials.
• Additional language skills (German).
