Alive Dx is recruiting for a Buyer to join the Supply Chain team based in Eysins, Switzerland. This is a full-time permanent position.

YOUR MISSION

Reporting to the Head of Supply Chain, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing the procurement process, from sourcing and purchasing goods and services to ensuring timely delivery and compliance with company policies and regulations. This role involves working closely with suppliers, internal departments, and stakeholders to meet the organization’s procurement needs.

Your main responsibilities will include:

Procurement Process Management:

• Process purchase requisitions and generate purchase orders.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures.
• Track orders and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.

Documentation and Reporting:

• Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, including purchase orders, contracts, and supplier information.
• Prepare and present regular reports on procurement activities, expenditures, and supplier performance.
• Ensure all procurement documentation is complete and complies with regulatory requirements.

Collaboration and Coordination:

• Work closely with internal departments (e.g., finance, production, logistics) to understand their procurement needs.
• Coordinate with the finance department to ensure timely processing of invoices and payments.
• Resolve any issues or discrepancies related to procurement activities.

Compliance and Risk Management:

• Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and organizational policies.
• Identify and mitigate procurement risks.

YOUR COMPETENCIES

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, procurement or business administration
• 2-5 years of experience in an industrial procurement function, preferably within the medical device or healthcare industry.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Power Point)
• Familiarity with procurement software, knowledge of Oracle would be a plus.
• Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with excellent organizational and time management skills.
