Deputy Compliance Manager and Deputy MLRO

Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Deputy Compliance Manager to join our team, The selected candidate will report to the Compliance Officer and will be required to act as their deputy in His absence.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

• Understand regulatory environment from EU and Switzerland legislation related to compliance, money laundering and terrorist financing prevention, risk management and reporting and act as intermediary between the regulator and the Company .
• Ensure compliance with the Company's AML and Compliance program, policies other anti-money laundering procedures, review them regularly and, if necessary, update them.
• Advise Compliance Officer and Board of Directors of emerging compliance issues and conflicts and guide the company in the establishment of controls to mitigate risks.
Constantly
• and analyze new compliance, terrorist financing and money laundering trends and technologies, search for and propose new prevention measures and methods.
• Conduct a risk assessment to identify areas of business that are most vulnerable to compliance and money laundering activities.
• Facilitate trainings that all Company employees about the AML program and procedures together their responsibilities in detecting and preventing money laundering activities.
• Follow-up on outstanding issues and recommendations encountered during the internal and external audits or regulatory inspections.
• Oversee outsourcing process and guided by applicable laws and regulators and ensure compliance with mandatory requirements.
• Play a key role is setting the compliance guidance, requirements and adjustments on new product launches, system enhancements and current integrations.

About your profile:

• Good knowledge of laws and legal acts related to financial institutions.
• Experience in compliance and AML/CTF functions.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and drive processes independently.
• Proactive approach to taking the lead on various compliance-related projects, tasks, and assignments.
• Strong multitasking and collaboration skills, as the position requires working with multiple teams globally.
• Proficiency in MS Office, with data analysis skills considered a plus.
• Fluent in English and German languages.

Qualifications

• Training as a banker/savings bank clerk, studies in economics or law
• Audit experience in bank, credit institutions or payment institutions
• Independent work with a minimum of instructions
• Very good communication skills in German and English, other further foreign language skills are an advantage
• Ability to present good and effective results under time pressure
• Good analytical skills
• Honest, diplomatic, goal-oriented personality
