What you do
- Define technical roadmaps with our VP Product and CPO, and work with product owners to groom the backlog, factoring in technical debt and prioritising impactful services.
- Lead, grow, and inspire your team to perform at the highest level, and successfully deliver their best in a fast-paced environment
- Facilitate daily scrum meetings, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives to ensure agile practices are effectively implemented and continuously improved.
- Work closely with other managers, stakeholders, and teams across the organisation to ensure that the globally rolled-out architecture aligns with the broader company objectives.
- Perform regular 1:1 with your team members to develop career plans and goals. Help your team maintain resilience in periods of change and ambiguity
- Conduct performance evaluations, identify training needs and foster a culture of continuous learning within our company
Requirements
- People management: You have several years of experience leading and mentoring software engineers. Mentorship is important to you, and you thrive on empowering others.
- Language skills: Excellent spoken and written English is required. Proficiency in Spanish or German is a plus.
- Technical fundamentals: You have a strong foundation in computer science and engineering, including knowledge of data structures, solution design, architecture, and design patterns.
- Commercial development experience: You have experience developing complex web and mobile applications using our tech stack (Java, Angular, Android, AWS, etc.).
- Technical leadership: You have experience in a technical leadership role, with deep knowledge of digital product development and a strong understanding of software architecture, from experimentation to continuous improvement in an agile environment.
- Problem-solving: You possess excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and resolve technical challenges.

- Remote work experience: You have experience with Near-Shore and Off-Shore remote-first environments.
