Your role and responsibilities

The Legal Counsel Ventures and M&A joins a team of M&A Legal professionals to primarily support the legal aspects of Corporate Venturing transactions, including: • Drafting and negotiating initial documentation such as NDAs and term sheets • Participating in due diligence • Drafting and reviewing transaction documents (investment agreements, shareholders agreements, etc) • Assisting to closing the deals In this role, the Legal Counsel will work with several stakeholders in ABB, including other M&A and Corporate Ventures professionals, functions, business and legal specialists, as well as with colleagues in various jurisdictions The work model for the role is: hybrid. #LI-hybrid The location of the role is Zurich, Switzerland. We can only accept applications from candidates with the right to work in this location.

Qualifications for the role

Masters level degree, Qualified lawyer / Bar admission
6/8 years of total PQE preferably with exposure to M&A and/or VC work
Basic understanding of corporate finance concepts
Fluency in tech concepts, and an understanding of the Swiss environment
High motivation to work in fast paced VC environment
Team oriented personality
Highest levels of integrity and work ethic
Excellent writer and communicator with exceptional English, additional languages are a plus
