This position reports to

Production Supervisor

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to operate process equipment or machinery to convert raw materials into components or finished parts for a final product at the right time and in the required quality. Every day, you will perform the assigned tasks according to the agreed workflows and in accordance with ABB's standard processes and safety guidelines, and report violations of the regulations. You will also demonstrate your expertise by operating machines according to the instruction manual, work plan, and/or production order instructions. They are mainly responsible for: •Support and implementation of the set-up process (optimisation / set-up / set-up) •Optimization of processes as well as participation in optimization teams •Sampling, including commissioning and modifications of new tools Documentation and preparation of the sampling results •Support in tool design in the part development / tool design phase •Support and implementation of the set-up process (optimisation / set-up / set-up) •Optimization of processes as well as participation in optimization teams •As a process owner and problem solver, he supports series production This item reports to the Department Manager of the Parts Production Plastics

Qualifications for the role

Plastics technologist or plastics technician Skilled worker training with master craftsman training
You have at least 5 years of experience in the role of industrial foreman for plastics processing
Have an extended knowledge of the commissioning of new tools
You are enthusiastic about high quality on your own responsibility
Ideally, you have basic knowledge of the training and further education of skilled workers
Extended knowledge of German and English
