Job Description

• Industrial Process Development: Spearheaded the development, configuration, and optimization of industrial processes from initial samples through to full industrialization and project certification.
• Continuous Improvement Coordination: Led and contributed to continuous improvement initiatives for strategic and other key projects, ensuring enhanced efficiency and effectiveness.
• Technical Consultation and Support: Provided expert technical support and consultation to secure new projects, collaborating closely with project management and sales teams during the RFQ phase, feasibility analysis, performance estimations, and physical test runs.
• Process Technology Evaluation: Assessed new process technologies and proposed innovative technical solutions to enhance operational capabilities.
• Project Documentation: Authored comprehensive project documentation, including reports, project plans, guidelines, work instructions, and analytical data evaluations.
• Production Equipment Testing: Conducted rigorous testing and documentation of new production equipment, including proof of concept, Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), and Factory Acceptance Testing.
• Global Knowledge Exchange: Facilitated knowledge exchange and training programs for employees on a global scale, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.

The Successful Applicant

• Educational Background: Bachelor's degree (BSc) or higher in a technical field, providing a solid foundation in engineering principles.
• Professional Experience: Demonstrated success as a process engineer or within industrial manufacturing, showcasing a robust track record of optimizing processes and driving efficiency.
• Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of process and application methodologies, coupled with exceptional interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Industry Knowledge: Specialized understanding of production requirements within the medical device industry, ensuring compliance and innovation.
• Language Proficiency: Fluent in German with advanced proficiency in English, both spoken and written, enabling effective communication in diverse settings.
• Communication Skills: Outstanding and transparent communication abilities, adept at collaborating within a global team environment as well as working independently.
• Global Mobility: Willingness and capability to travel internationally, fulfilling duties abroad up to 20% of the time, demonstrating flexibility and commitment.
