Developing and implementing hedging strategies for cocoa futures, cocoa butter/ powder ratios in accordance with the business strategies
Creation of all relevant inputs for our risk management and contractual systems
Interpreting the cocoa market, creating market reports and informing the organization
Business contingency: Work closely with the related departments such as production planning and quality assurance / Volume management for cocoa butter/powder and beans / Monitoring of Swiss plant delivery performance
Maintain strong supplier relationships for a reliable supply chain
Calculation of foreign currency requirements

Category Management Lindt & Sprüngli Europe
Developing and implementing of Cocoa Product supply strategies in Europe incl. our sustainability requirements
Manage volumes across our suppliers and subsidiaries
Implement new Suppliers and Origins into our portfolio
Coordinate all activities between Supplier, R&D, QA, Finance and Sustainability
Create and monitor suitable agreements and pricing models
Understand key sustainability requirements for the category and work closely with the Cocoa Sustainability team to meet these
Manage supplier relationships, incl. escalation management
Collaborate with colleagues across the L&S subsidiaries in Europe
When you fit in with us
University degree or further training in SCM / procurement
At least 5 years of professional experience in the procurement or trading of ideally cocoa, or necessarily another listed commodity such as coffee or palm oil
German and English are mandatory (French / Spanish an advantage)
Good IT skills in SAP and Microsoft Office
Reliable, communicative
Initiative and able to work independently
Analytical way of thinking and assertiveness
