We are looking for someone like you to join our team:
  • as part of this exciting team, you will have the opportunity to work in an environment where change is an everyday event and excellence is our goal
  • be responsible for the design efficiency and operating effectiveness of Run-the-bank (RTB) controls, ensure that only accredited / trained staff operates controls and processes, all exceptions are well understood, appropriately commented and reflect the proper RAG status
  • responsible for ensuring processes are completed in line with SOPs, and sufficient evidence is documented to meet KPCs / KPCis
  • you, along with your team mates, will be responsible for managing reference and static changes in CTC rec tool
  • you will work together with various group operations team on reporting regional team outstanding exceptions and as well with global stakeholders to ensure UBS' obligations to risk committee reporting requirement
  • act as an intermediary to ensure Operation queries are resolved in a timely manner related to various risk reports generated for operation teams
Your team
You’ll be working in the Exception management Operations, in Switzerland.

Exception Management is a static team which takes care of setting up of new accounts, amendment or closing of an account in reconciliation tool CTC.
Also, check for any missing balance issues or any feed issue and ensure the correct feeds are loaded in CTC.

Apart from the above, your role would require generating / publishing and review critical regulatory reports across group operation teams on Weekly, Monthly, Yearly and ad hoc basis.
Your expertise
  • exposure to Operations/Back-Office area and ideally
  • reference data
  • static updates
  • reconciliations of Nostro/Depot across various banking products
  • ensure compliance of the wider team with KPCs and all SOX evidencing requirements
  • advanced Microsoft Office skills
  • generate Adhoc risk reports
  • customer and risk oriented personality
  • good written and oral communication Skills
