We are looking for an experienced Facilities Manager to oversee all building-related activities. You will be responsible for preserving the good condition of infrastructure and ensure that facilities are safe and well functioning. The ideal candidate will be well-organized and able to optimize the use of space and equipment while reducing operating costs. Leadership abilities and phenomenal efficiency can set you apart among our candidate pool. • Manage and participate in the day-to-day operations of facilities which include, but not limited to facilities maintenance, move coordination, security and space planning
• Manage and interact with outside vendors for various services
• Participate in annual budget planning
• Project management oversight and active participation in office construction projects
• Maintain all equipment warranty information
• Responsible for the overall coordination of fire safety and schedule fire drills as required by local codes
• Responsible for all phases of the building's operation and to respond to any emergencies in a manner which not only instills confidence in both the employees and the occupants, but also results in a minimum amount of discomfort, damage or injury to persons, equipment and other property. Must be available after hours and on weekend for emergency and other unscheduled situations and events
• Manage the timely delivery of facility projects, i.e., moving, space planning, property management internal service, energy management, ergonomics, recycling; This is a hands-on position
• Manage projects with fiscal responsibility tied to financial results, cost control, corporate occupancy objectives
• Manage and provide recommendations on long range facilities planning, security and safety management
• Develop policies for SMC facilities which include compliance requirements, license applications, safety, injury and illness prevention, including training for employees
• Supervise all maintenance work and repairs of HVAC, electrical, janitorial, etc.; other duties as assigned
