Your JobPRIMARY PURPOSE: Add additional layout design resource to meet customers' design requests and schedule
What You Will Do
1.Generate Flexible Printed Circuit (FPC) design data in Altium and/or Allegro
2.Work closely electrical engineers, field applications engineers, mechanical engineers, process engineers, and production to support effective design of FPCs
3.Understand FPC technology, our manufacturing capabilities, and the corresponding layout design rules to ensure manufacturable designs 4.Work with international team (Taiwan, China, United States, Mexico, and Canada) to capture design needs of our customers
5.Create customer facing documents for their review and approval 6.Support generation of manufacturing data including but not limited to gerbers and penalization
7.Support the creation of internal drawings leveraging geometric design 8.Check and verify the consistency of all design elements: net lists, schematics, part numbers, component orientation, labeling, etc.
9.Other work arranged by the leader.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
WORK EXPERIENCE:
REQUIRED:
3+ years of relevant experience for FPC/PCB layout design.
Experienced in ECAD tool such as Allegro and Altium PCB editor
PREFERRED:
Experience in designing and validating high-speed digital and high power FPCs.
Experience using Altium and/or Allegro
Experience using: Siemens NX to generate the mechanical drawings Experience with SI, EMC, EMI, and ESD problems and methods to overcome through design Knowledge of IPC standards relating to FPCs and PBCs
