What you’ll do
As a key client and team leader at Liquid, you will:
- Lead client-focused teams in strategizing and executing full-cycle media campaigns
- Maintain strong client relationships, offering strategic insights and recommendations as a client leader and account manager for clients running media campaigns globally
- Meet and exceed client expectations as their paid media subject matter expert
- Provide direction on day-to-day tasks, time management, and project workflows
- Work closely with our agency’s senior management team on strategy, client satisfaction, and other elements of success
Your profile should demonstrate solid experience as a senior individual contributor or supervisor in a digital advertising agency or video game company–
- 5-9 years of media agency experience in digital buying or media strategy, or as a marketer at a video game developer or publisher
- Leading the day-to-day media strategy process from research and planning to execution and evaluation, ensuring campaigns meet client expectations
- Demonstrated experience in managing complex client relationships and presenting fully-realized media campaigns and strategies
- Collaboration with various agency departments and disciplines, such as creative, programmatic, and data teams
- Strong project management, budget management, communication, and organizational skills
- Client-facing presentation experience, including leading regular status calls, presenting media recommendations, and campaign analyses
- Passion for staying updated on emerging trends, platforms, and best practices in the media industry
- At least 1 year of experience managing associate- to planner-level employees (management of experienced employees is strongly preferred)
- Proficiency in audience and media research tools such as MRI, SRDS, GWI, Similar Web, and Pathmatics (strongly preferred)
Your qualities and attributes
- Communication and presentation skills: English proficiency (minimum C1 level) and native-level Mandarin proficiency. Ability to convey ideas, insights, and recommendations effectively to clients, vendors, and internal teams both in writing and in person. Please highlight any additional proficiencies in Korean or Japanese languages.
- Relationship building: Expertise in building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, vendors, and peers, understanding their unique needs, and managing their expectations
- Delegation and time management: Ability to effectively delegate tasks to team members while managing personal time and understanding the importance of tasks and their impact on the team's development
- Problem-solving and critical thinking: Resourcefulness and skill in identifying and resolving challenges that may arise during the media planning, buying, and activation process, always backed by data and quickly shared with the team and managers
