Molex is seeking an experienced Account Manager / Sales Engineer for Data Computing Application to service our Taiwan-based ODM customer. In this highly visible sales position, you will join a team of professionals who are passionate to deliver the best products in the world to the market.
What You Will Do
• Major responsibility is hunting projects and to win Molex products within customer design. This position needs to stay close with customer, to propose Molex solution and make sure we win the design/business.
• Ability to discuss engineering topics with customer, including confirmation of 2D/3D, product specifications, packaging, and sample verification until mass production.
• NPI projects management. This position requires knowledge of project architecture, TAM, controlling development schedule, design-in parts/sample requests, and issue tracking.
• You will need to collaborate with Molex multiple functional teams from FAE, global sales, PM and product design engineer, by working together to ensure the design activities in US/TW regions are all aligned.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
EDUCATION:
• Bachelor's degree in mechanical/electrical engineering.
• Non-ME/EE bachelor's degree, with 5+ datacom connector and cable design-in experience within the industry.
• At Molex, our daily communication is English based, so we are looking for talent with fluence English verbally as well for writing.
What Will Put You Ahead
• Experienced FAE within connector and cable industry, familiar with datacom application.
• Experienced design-in sales with basic technical knowledge in Datacom Industry.
• Engineer background but you are more interested in sales role.
