Do you want to help us build the DNA of tech.? Vishay General Semiconductor Taiwan Ltd is currently seeking applicants for Regional Marketing Manager, Capacitors to join our growing family. In this position, the successful candidate will be responsible to manage and accelerate profitable growth for Vishay capacitors business in Taiwan region, be pivotal link between/for all Capacitors’ Product Marketers, R&D Engineers to Customers/Sales/Distributors providing proposals, feedback, guidance, strategies and rendering support towards creating effective communication on all technical and commercial aspects, encompassing marketing job scopes for overall Vishay’s business success. She/He is able to work independently and highly motivated with self-sustainable goals towards excellence results achievements.

What you will be doing:

• Function as an effective link between Sales & Product / Divisional Mktg so as to reach or exceed the sales budget / target of Vishay Capacitors in Taiwan.

• Collaborate and technically support the Taiwan customers, channel partners, engineers and sales to choose appropriate capacitors from the Vishay product portfolio towards optimizing application needs/specs requirements and towards win-win design win.

• Communicating the needs of customers to Product Marketing of respective Division towards supporting the customers better holistically.

• Coordinate quotes respective Product Marketing (with internal negotiations) and by offering optimum prices with competitive terms towards capturing new opportunities, whilst sustaining existing ones.

• Participate in Price Negotiation meetings along of Sales at customers & defend/grow the business share (within the given guidelines of Variable Margins) as given by Product Marketing.

• Work closely and engage Sales/FAE to optimize and broadening our customer-base.

• Communicate & facilitate all marketing activities required as & when stipulated in line with strategies of Product / Divisional Mktg; whilst coordinating appropriate terms and conditions towards winning formula.

• Report & pre-alert the Product Marketing / Divisional Mktg regarding any event in the market and relevant support required (e.g. Competition in the market place or at customers) which impacts Vishay’s business.

• Work closely with sales & channel partners alike to locate & capture new business opportunities through TAM-DTAM or via new design wins.

• Support in implementation of NPIs (New Product Introduction) and PCNs (Product Notification Change) through sales/customers/distributors with an aligned communicating effort.

• Resolving technical queries of customers with the help of Product Marketing/Division engineers by providing ideas and solutions.

• Educating customers as well as to sales/channel partners though various platforms to equip all stakeholders towards an optimized synergy to grow capacitors business.

• Carrying out comparative studies w.r.t. competition product specs / benchmarking data to seek advantage position towards pushing Vishay’s product to win business in Taiwan.

• Provide clear guidance to sales/fae/channel partners the directions on focus products and key applications to target on.

What you will bring along:

• Bachelor Degrees in Electrical and Electronics

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in related Electronics Industry, preferably related to capacitors background. Familiar with Automotive and high reliability market segments

• Technically well-versed in applications related to segments in Computing/Server, Automotive and High Reliability.

• Past experiences and exposures related to tantalum polymer and other related capacitors’ technologies and solutions preferred.

• Speaks fluent and command good English with great grasps in presentations and communication skills.

• Familiar with CRM tools and approaches (although not prerequisite).
