System Validation Software Engineer

This role has been designed as ‘’Onsite’ with an expectation that you will primarily work from an HPE office.

Job Description:


Responsibilities:

• Response for Server Software and Hardware compatibility and integration test, focus on activities in produce development phase
• Executes and writes portions of testing plans, protocols, and documentation for assigned portion of application; identifies and debugs issues with code and suggests changes or improvements.
• Own test cases & plan creation and overall plan execution tasks
• Collect and analyze failure data and co-work with the development team to drive issue closure
• Create test script and hands on test execution
• Participates as a member of project team of other systems engineers and internal and outsourced development partners to develop reliable, cost effective and high quality solutions for assigned systems portion or subsystem.
• Assist critical issue debugging and root cause analysis
• Collaborates and communicates with internal and outsourced development partners regarding the systems design status, project progress, and issue resolution.

Education and Experience Required:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.
• Typically 4-10 years experience.

Knowledge and Skills:

• 4+ years of hardware test engineering or system integration background
• Outstanding HW/SW integration, problem-solving and optimization skill
• Experienced in designing, develop and deploying test infrastructure, and equipment at NPI
• Familiar with Windows Server, Redhat, SUSE, Ubuntu, VMWare OS.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; mastery of English and local language. Ability to effectively communicate design proposals and negotiate options.
