We are currently looking for a French or Spanish Speaking Medical Advisor-Doctor for the full-time position. Our office is located in Bangkok, Thailand. We employ 50+ staff members, handling insurance and assistance claims with high professional standards in an international and vibrant office environment. Our office runs 24/7 and works in liaison with 9 other Euro-Centers around the world. The Euro-Center Holding SE, headquartered in Prague, belongs to the Munich RE Group with its subsidiaries, ERGO Travel and ERV, and is also partially owned by Europeiske Reiseforsikring in Norway (IF Group). As a Medical Advisor-Doctor (French or Spanish Speaking), your main task is to evaluate assistance cases from a medical point of view, including the following aspects: Deal with all type of cases (outpatient, inpatient, transportation and repatriation of human remains) in accordance with EC medical case management standards Assessment of written medical reports or/and direct conference calls with treating doctors when a written information is not available.Work in GLOBO, EC Operation system Medical review regarding pre-existing and chronic illnesses Medical treatment evaluation: treatment adequacy, medical facility reliability (in coordination with assistance staff), length of treatment Giving fit to travel recommendations based on the information received from treating doctor and his/her own assessment of patient’s condition Organisation of medical evacuations when necessary in close cooperation with the assistance staff Lead and support Medical Advisor-Nurses Evaluation of medical expenses and quotations, coherency between items in the invoices and the medical issues Using language capabilities, translation of medical reports Cross border support to other assistance centers when necessary Integration in general functions and shifts with the rest of medical team

Requirements

Education / knowledge and experience: University degree (Medicine) Advanced medical education At least 5 years of experience in active medical care, preferable with in emergency medicine Experience in travel medicine is desirable Language skills: Bilingual skills: native tongue and high advanced English with high proficiency in French or Spanish Other skills: Computer literate: Office package, use of internal software Analysis capacity Strong interpersonal and communication skills Decision making Able to working under stress
