We are seeking a motivated and skilled Expert in Fire Safety and Emergency to join our team at Pivdennyi Port , Odessa region, Ukraine .
Your Tasks:

• Ensuring the implementation of measures for emergency response within the enterprise site and providing employees with collective and individual protective equipment.
• Development and placement of visual information regarding safety measures and proper employee behavior in case of accidents and emergencies.
• Development of relevant documents outlining the procedure for creating Emergency Response Team (ERT), their material and technical base, necessary for their functioning, and ensuring the readiness of such formations for their designated tasks.
• Organization and training of emergency response personnel, including industrial and fire safety regulations.
• Conducting facility-specific emergency response drills and training and establishing and organizing emergency response teams.
• Implementing emergency response measures aimed at reducing the probability and impact of emergency events.
• Design, construction, maintenance, operation, and renovation of protective structures for sheltering terminal employees during emergencies.
• Conduct regular practical training sessions with terminal personnel on the proper use and maintenance of respiratory and eye protection equipment (RPE) in the event of an emergency involving an ammonia or other chemical release.
• Promote the design, installation, and operation of fire protection systems, such as fire detection and suppression systems, and to integrate these systems with industrial automation.
• Maintain records of fire protection systems and implement preventive measures to mitigate fire hazards and prevent emergencies within the terminal.

Your Profile:

• Degree in a relevant field (e.g., Engineering, Safety Management, Environmental Science, or a related discipline).
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in a similar position within an international company.
• Knowledge of company regulations and requirements in labor protection, civil protection, fire safety, and environmental safety.
• English proficiency at a Pre-Intermediate level.
• Problem-solving and critical thinking abilities and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills and time management and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
