About the position
Location: Kiev, Ukraine
Remote work
The Head of Sales Ukraine in collaboration with assigned distributors and supporting functions (marketing, customer marketing, finance) will be responsible for achieving business goals (net sales, profit, cash). You will effectively generate new leads and manage relationships with existing distributors to develop and leverage growth opportunities by maximizing assortment/distribution and in-store availability, as well as activation and by identifying white space opportunities.
The role reports to Head of Sales Distributor Markets.
The Sales Lead takes responsibility for results in Ukraine and is responsible for achieving sales and profit goals, including but not limited to:
- Generating new leads/developing the customer base.
- Managing the distributor selection process – negotiations/agreements/internal quotation process.
- Analyzing territory potential, tracking sales and status reports.
- Defining annual and long term plans and budget with distributors, including monthly performance management.
- Developing and implementing sales and marketing strategies across retail and Ho Re Ca channels.
- Reviewing distributors' business performance at monthly growth meetings in line with established KPIs.
- Securing necessary investments to meet business objectives.
- Maximizing retail and Ho Re Ca reach and penetration.
- Optimizing portfolio, placement, pricing and promotions in collaboration with distributors and support functions.
- Coordinating the availability of accurate and up-to-date demand plans.
- Order management – forecasting/ pricing/availability.
So what does it take to be successful in this role?
Minimum 5 years of experience in FMCG sales management. Knowledge of distributors will be an added advantage!
Experience in key account management, preferably combined with field force management and trade marketing.
Very strong work ethic.
Open minded with a solution-oriented attitude.
Stress resistance in a rapidly changing environment.
A results-oriented and motivated individual with a constant drive to achieve goals.
Experience in a cluster or regional environment. Excellent sales, negotiation and communication skills.
Fluent English.
