Expertise France is the public agency of French international technical cooperation. The agency operates around four priorities:

• democratic, economic and financial governance;
• security and stability of countries in crisis/post-crisis situations;
• sustainable development;
• strengthening health systems, social protection and employment.

In these areas, Expertise France carries out engineering and implementation missions for capacity building projects, mobilizes technical expertise and acts as an aggregator of projects involving public expertise and private know-how.

With an activity volume of 233 million euros, more than 400 projects in portfolio in 80 countries, and 63,000 days of expertise, Expertise France focuses its action towards France’s solidarity policy, influence and economic diplomacy.

Under supervision of Administrative and Financial Manager, the Finance Assistant / Accountant is responsible for:

• Data entry and preparation of documents for further hierarchical approval and processing in accounting and project management software
• Update financial spreadsheets with daily transactions
• Bank, accounts payable reconciliations
• Advances follow-up and exchange rates tracking
• Payroll Calculation and Support of Communication/Document from with Outsourcing company (GDIP)
• Local Tax Reporting (and Statutory Reporting when registered)
• Accounting Software focal point
• Creation of third parties profiles in accounting systems
• Support in internal and external audit process
• Participation in financial compliance procedures
• Other relevant administrative and financial tasks

Expertise France (EF) is the French government operator of international assistance projects, which presence in Ukraine has recently been strengthened. EF is implementing several projects, notably the EU Project Pravo-Justice, aimed to promote greater rule of law in Ukraine, in line with European standards and comparative practices, the "m AIDan" project, in close coordination with the French Embassy in Kyiv, with the aim of mobilizing French technical assistance to support Ukraine in addressing the emergency and preparing for reconstruction and the EU accession process. The agency is also supporting several health partners through the project APPUI Health and health program named the Initiative dedicated to the fight against HIV and tuberculosis.

• Master degree in finance, accounting, business administration or a related field;
• At least two years of experience supporting payments, financial procedures and compliance, preferably within the context of a technical assistance project;
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.)
• Mastery of Sage accounting software is an asset
• High degree of organization, attention to detail, and ability to multitask;
• Fluency in written and spoken Ukrainian, at least B1 for English.

• Outstanding emotional intelligence skills,
