Ciklum is looking for a Middle Data Engineer to join our team full-time in Ukraine.

About the role:
As a Middle Data Engineer, become a part of a cross-functional development team engineering experiences of tomorrow.
You'll become a part of a cross-functional development team working for providing the business with the reporting for (online) marketing and ecommerce steering as well as exports directly to marketing vendors.
The Client is the central solution provider for information technology of the group. The project is about to plan, develop and operate all aspects of information technology ranging from network infrastructure over classic back-end-systems to the latest digital technology and all required services. Our IT experts are highly skilled developers with innovative visions and growth mindset. They combine online pure play with omnichannel experience and set new standards for the optimal use of future-proof IT solutions in fashion retail. Our work is technically demanding and challenging, with the aim of maximizing individual development potential to provide a value-added contribution to achieve the company's goal of becoming Europe's leading omnichannel retailer for fashion.

Responsibilities
- Contributes to building and maintaining the pipelines with data coming from various sources, which also includes external vendors for marketing
- Determines/calculates how each online marketing channel contributes to a conversion
- Does extensive data and code QA’s
- Proactive Problem-Solver: Demonstrates the ability to anticipate challenges and develop effective solutions independently
- Team Player: Collaborates effectively with others, contributing to a positive and productive team environment
- SQL Proficiency: Strong command of SQL with proven ability to work confidently with databases and complex queries
- Data Engineering Expertise: Solid background in data engineering, with hands-on experience in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or Big Query
- Exposure to Airflow and Python: Basic experience with Apache Airflow and Python programming
- Agile and Scrum Methodologies: Familiarity with Agile principles and Scrum practices for efficient project management
- Data and Code Quality Assurance: Experience in ensuring the quality of data and code through rigorous QA practices
- Looker Experience: Familiarity with Looker for data visualization and reporting
- Dataform Experience: Experience with Dataform for data transformation and workflow management
- E-commerce/Marketing Data: Knowledge or experience working with e-commerce or marketing data
