ABOUT YOU:
The Product Owner is the key stakeholder in the agile development process, responsible for the day-to-day execution of the product roadmap. They collaborate with the chief product owner to co-develop a roadmap and lead products and features throughout their full lifecycle. They work with cross-functional teams and various stakeholders, including design/user experience, engineering, and user enablement.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Deliver on the product vision:
    • Co-own and execute product roadmap with the chief product owner.
    • Partner with stakeholders across the organization to inform the product vision, strategy, features, and prioritization.
  • Inspire and drive the squad to deliver great products:
    • Decompose product roadmap items into well-defined product requirements including features, user stories, and acceptance test criteria.
    • Ensure customer tickets are given appropriate priority and treated in a timely manner.
  • Ensure products are ready for go:
    • Document all new features to educate internal and external stakeholders.
    • Collaborate with the production team to understand where improvements are needed to improve the implementation process.
  • Be customer-centric and operate with a continuous improvement mindset:
    • Perform customer interviews and participate in workshops to understand end-user needs and context of use.
    • Conduct usability studies with end-users on existing product and prototypes to refine design and identify areas for improvement.
    • Monitor post-launch product performance to evaluate areas for future investment.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or equivalent
  • 3+ years product owner experience managing B2B Saa S products
  • Experience with one or more development tracking software, such as Jira
  • Experience with agile or lean software development methodologies
  • Experience of creation and support technical documentation
  • Experience in managing cross-functional teams
  • Established background in launching software in partnership with engineering teams
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
  • Demonstrated success in defining, implementing and communicating the end-to-end vision of the product.
  • Experience in conducting market research and customer development, defining and implementing the go-to-market strategy.
  • Able to prioritize product features and manage backlog
  • Proven experience displaying decision-making skills, with the ability to assess business impact, risks, and opportunity.
  • Prior technical background would be a plus
  • Excellent written and oral communication, and the ability to communicate complex technical information to various audiences
  • Able to comfortably and effectively present to large groups of stakeholders
