Our client is one of the world’s well-known IT-companies, with portfolio of tools used widely in IT industry. It is a multinational company with development offices around the world.
At this moment, Soft Serve team is working with more than 50 different subproject/products for this client. Our customer is technically mature company with huge expertise and innovative approach, widely using new technologies existing on the market (big data, analytics etc.). In particular case It is a high visibility project focusing on delivering the capability for product marketing managers to create dynamic user audiences based on user behaviours and traits and message those audiences. Company is building a micro-service architecture that will build the foundation for these capabilities.

IF YOU ARE

• Proficient in web application development using Python
• Confident in working with Django Object-relational data model for databases, Django Rest Framework
• Familiar with STD Django Web Service app space
• Adept at Microservices architecture and distributed systems
• Understanding or having practical experience with RDS, Elasti Cashe, Elastic Search
• Well-versed in AWS (knowledge of SQS, and SNS would be a plus)
• Familiar with Platform services for authentication and authorization
• Aware of interfacing with AD libraries, querying from the command line
• Willing to work with React for Frontend (minor scope)
• A good analytical thinker
• Strong in problem-solving, debugging, and troubleshooting
• Fluent in verbal and written communication in English at an intermediate+ level

AND YOU WANT TO

• Work with and develop scalable services and APIs using Python (3.10, 3.12) and Django
• Build and optimize Django-based apps with Django Rest Framework and ORM
• Leverage AWS services (SQS, SNS, RDS, Elasti Cache, Elastic Search) to enable robust infrastructure
• Work with authentication and authorization platform services like AD and command-line tools
• Ensure clear documentation and follow best practices for security and performance
• Cooperate with a geographically distributed team (mostly crossing with Australia timezone in the morning and sometimes with USA on the evening)
• Follow the Agile/Scrum environment
