Trainee/Junior Customer Support Engineer (L2)

ABOUT CLIENT
Swiss company in commodity trading. We are helping out the customer with various applications that support their business (chain management, risk management solutions). The main service from Eleks side is support but there are also development projects for the customer. Support team consists of 5 support engineers. They are working with ~10 applications.
REQUIREMENTS
- Knowledge of MS SQL
- Proficiency in Excel
- Problem (L2) resolution
- Understanding the business logic of apps
- Experience in communications with customers or support work
- Upper-Intermediate English (written and spoken)
- Knowledge of the metals industry (will be a plus)
- Monitoring daily data quality through system report reviews and database checks
- Extracting data from the system and making adjustments according to predefined rules
- Uploading the adjusted data back into the system
- Gather all required and useful information regarding projects in the Customer Support Office
- Monitor various IT systems
- Help to investigate, reproduce and document customer issues
- Provide ideas on how to fix the issues
- Analyze and learn solutions implemented by other Support Engineers
- Maintain documentation/knowledge bases where it is required
- Writing instructions
- Develop own skills and knowledges required on the projects
