We are well well-established Transport & Logistics company, with its headquarters in Dubai -United Arab Emirates, is one of the leading providers of solutions dedicated to meet highly professional business standards and environment. We are hiring an Accountant responsible for performing invoice and beneficiary reimbursement verifications, data entry for programmatic functions, generating financial reports, and performing related fiscal duties. Work involves applying established accounting procedures, principles of bookkeeping, and basic accounting to the review and process of accounting documents.
Responsibilities :

• Leading the monthly and yearly closing of the books of accounts,
• ensuring adherence to accounting principles and policies.
• Preparing financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to address issues related to A/R, A/P, and related party accounts.
• Reviewing vouchers, journal entries, and financial transactions
• prepared by junior staff for accuracy and compliance.
• Coordinating with group Internal Auditors to facilitate audits,
• ensuring compliance with internal controls.
• Liaising with external auditors for annual external audits and
• In-country value audits, responding to audit inquiries and

providing necessary data.

• Preparing detailed and insightful monthly management reports,
• Analyzing financial data and identifying key trends.
• Preparing and submitting quarterly Value Added Tax (VAT)
• returns in compliance with regulations and deadlines set by the

Federal Tax Authority, UAE.

• Managing and administering payroll operations, including salary
• transfers through the Wages Protection System, to ensure

seamless and compliant disbursement of employee payments.

• Reporting financial results and insights to the Group CFO.

Qualification:

• 3-5 years of experience working in Accounts Receivable, preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• 3 year of experience in logistics, preferred.
• Ability to deal with claims, collections and settlements.
• Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel and Outlook.
• A self-starter with ability to work in a fast-paced office setting.
• Familiarity with basic accounting principles and procedures.
• Organization, accuracy and attention to detail.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
• Strong phone presence and ability to gather data from external sources.
