We are seeking a talented and experienced Fashion Designer who is not only skilled in conceptualizing and designing innovative apparel but also proficient in translating these designs into tangible products. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in pattern making, cutting, and the full garment production process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop original designs from concept to completion, ensuring they align with the brand’s vision and market trends.
- Create detailed technical sketches and specifications for each design.
- Develop and create patterns, ensuring they meet the desired fit, proportions, and style.
- Cut fabric and materials according to patterns, maintaining precision and attention to detail.
- Collaborate closely with the production team to oversee sample development and final production.
- Stay updated on fashion trends, fabrics, and materials, integrating them into the design process.
- Adjust and revise patterns as needed to ensure the best fit and design execution.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Fashion Designer with a portfolio showcasing your designs and finished products.
- Strong skills in pattern making, draping, and garment construction.
- Proficiency in using design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and CAD programs.
- Ability to work with various materials and fabrics.
- Excellent understanding of garment fitting, proportions, and finishing techniques.
- Attention to detail and a passion for fashion and design.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Degree in Fashion Design or a related field.
- Experience working in [specific fashion segment or market, e.g., luxury, abayas, ready-to-wear].
- Knowledge of sustainable fashion practices and materials.
