Role Purpose
To provide excellent administrative support to the Farm Trading department.

Your Responsibilities

• Assisting Farm Traders day to day – answering calls, contract entry, sending out sample results, contract amendments, giving prices for grain/seed/fertiliser.
• Proactively contact farmers to support Farm Trader business.
• Entering new accounts and making amendments.
• Maintenance of spreadsheets to determine availability/quality and pricing requirements of forward contracts.
• To contact prospect customers via telephone to create leads for Farm Traders.
• Assisting the Farm Trading desk with campaigns providing relevant information is presented in an accurate and timely manner.
• Assisting with the organisation of farmer events.
• To assist with organisation of samplers and their workloads during harvest.

Your Profile

• Excellent communication skills being able to interact and build relationships both internally and externally.

• Experienced in the use of Microsoft IT software – Outlook, Word, Excel utilising skills into using bespoke systems..
• One year’s experience of working in an administrative role. Some knowledge or background in Agriculture would be preferred.

• Good timekeeping skills with a ‘can do’ attitude.
• Highly organised and motivated to deliver outstanding administration support.
