Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic sports person to join our educational team as a Assistant PE Teacher . The ideal candidate will be passionate about promoting physical fitness, health, and well-being among students. This role involves working alongside the PE teacher developing engaging lesson plans, fostering a positive learning environment, and encouraging students to participate in various physical activities and sports. The Physical Education Teacher will play a crucial role in educating students about the importance of maintaining an active lifestyle.
Previous experience working with young people is essential. A background in sports coaching, running sports clubs or any school based experience will be beneficial.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement comprehensive physical education curricula that meet the needs of all students.
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively to create a safe and supportive learning environment.
- Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback to encourage improvement.
- Organise and supervise extracurricular sports activities and events.
- Collaborate with other teachers to integrate physical education with other subjects.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff regarding student progress and behaviour.
- Stay updated on the latest trends in physical education and sports coaching methodologies.
Skills
- Strong behaviour management skills to maintain discipline and encourage positive interactions among students.
- Excellent organisational skills to plan lessons, manage resources, and coordinate events efficiently.
- Ability to educate students on the principles of health, fitness, and physical education effectively.
- Experience in sports coaching is highly desirable to enhance student engagement in various athletic activities.
- Proficient communication skills in English to convey information clearly to students and parents alike.
- A solid understanding of physical education principles and practices is essential for this role.

Pay: £90.00-£115.00 per day
