*Overview*
We are seeking a skilled Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining financial records and ensuring that financial transactions are accurately recorded. The role is based in the UK but will also cover admin / bookkeeping for the US business. US accounting knowledge is not required.
*Responsibilities*
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions
- Prepare quarterly VAT returns
- Process payroll and maintain employee records
- Prepare financial reports and assist in annual returns
- Must be profficient in Xero & Excel (Quickbooks a bonus)
- Assist with budget preparation, cashflow and monitoring
*Requirements*
- Proficiency in accounting software like Quick Books, & Xero, essential.
- Previous experience in bookkeeping or a similar role
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organisational skills and Excel skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Graduate
Pay: £25,269.00-£26,695.00 per year
Expected hours: 24 – 40 per week
