An exciting position has become available for a Client Care Advisor/Groom to join our team at our Equine clinic at Hoylandswaine, Penistone. Churchfield Vets has been providing a caring, compassionate and high-quality veterinary service since the 1930s. With three surgeries spread throughout South and West Yorkshire, we are well placed to serve the local communities and provide a 24/7 emergency service every day of the year.

About the role and our ideal candidate

This role will be reception-based and include working with clients, booking appointments and visits & helping clients with enquiries. In addition, there will be the opportunity to be hands on assisting Vets with procedures and carrying out horse management and yard duties.

Due to the varied nature of the role no two days are the same, so it never gets boring. Full in-house training will be provided. Due to our location a full driving license is essential. The ideal applicant would have at least one year experience working with horses and be proficient in reception duties, have good level of English and Math's. The position would suit an enthusiastic individual with the ability to multitask and adapt to the needs of the business on any given day.

Rota and salary

The position will be 40 hours a week with a share of a weekend and evening rota (1:4 weekend rota). We are open to full-time and part-time applicants as the role can be for one person or shared and split between two as a job share.

The salary will be up to £23,878 DOE per annum (based on FT).
