Do you:
· Have a minimum of 2yrs Pre-School or nursery experience
· Hold a minimum level 2 qualification
· Have a sound understanding of Safeguarding.
- Have a sound knowledge of the latest EYFS framework and regulations
If so, we are looking for a Deputy Manager to work 38 weeks per year, term time only. You will work alongside and experience Manager who has been with us for many years.
This role is to support the manager in the organisation of setting and to ensure high standards of care, education, safety and well-being of children, their families and Pre-School staff at all times.
You will be expected to support the aims and ethos of the Pre-School and work closely with the Owners in reviewing policies, planning, and day to day procedures. The Owners are very much involved in supporting the management team and administration and leading the teams. You will support in conjunction with the Manager the day-to-day operations and not be expected to be involved in invoicing, funding, and registration of new children etc. You will be counted in ratio during the week with allotted time for paperwork.
What we offer you:
Hours: 25-36hrs per week (term time only) to be agreed, with the option of a session off in the week. We are open for 38 weeks per year. You will be expected to start at 8.30am and finish at 4.30pm subject to the sessions you are working.
Salary: £21,500 per year based on 36hrs per week term time only. Final salary agreed is based on hours and experience.
