We're on the lookout for experienced dog walkers to join our team, bringing a wealth of experience in handling dogs of various breeds and sizes. The ideal candidate should exhibit expertise in dog behaviours, leash control, obedience, possess situational awareness, and be confident in managing walks both on and off lead. The dog walker must also be willing to conduct occasional pet sittings (stay at client’s homes) when requested.

This role would suit an individual who has plenty of free time, enjoys the outdoors, and can be flexible with their time.
The walker would be supporting the team by helping with a selection of dogs per day (Monday-Friday) in Islington N1 and Finsbury Park N4, but also when required in another operating area - so ideal if you live locally.
As we work to accommodate our client's schedule, our ideal dog walker would need to be available and consistent to work Monday-Friday (5 days a week) between 10am-4pm, with occassional 8am start , and occasional weekends, evenings, and overnights - to cover pet sitting requests and ad-hoc walks.
Depending on the bookings for dog walking, you will be expected to work 1-20 hours a week across Monday-Friday. Payment is solely for completed dog walks.
The role involves to pick up dogs on foot, and if required, to walk multiple dogs (1-3 dogs) on each walk for a duration of 1-3 hours at a time.
You would then be expected to cycle between each client’s home for the next booking.
Riding a bike is a must as you will be working in between our operating areas. You will be expected to cycle up to 30 minutes in between areas. Confident cyclists apply only. Rental bikes (Lime) are also available around London.
OUR OPERATING AREAS:
Camden, Islington, Finsbury Park, Hampstead, Notting Hill, Holland Park, Chiswick, Hammersmith, Regents Park, Maida Vale, Tufnell Park, Paddington, Shepherd’s Bush.
Being a dog walker is incredibly rewarding, a lot of fun, and certainly not your average 9-5 job. However it requires dedication, a positive and consistent attitude, alongside having excellent customer service and communication skills.
You must have dog handling experience and excellent problem-solving skills when working with animals. You would also be expected to communicate with the owners to build a professional relationship.
DOG WALKING
Hours: 1-20 a week (varied)
Days: Monday-Friday
Pay: £12 an hour
Paid: Monthly via invoice
Payment is solely for completed dog walks.
PET SITTING
To stay at the client’s house whilst they are away
Paid: £40 a night
NO STUDENTS
YOU MUST:
-Be available every Monday-Friday (5 days a week)
-Be aged over 21
-Be DBS checked
-Be physically fit
-Be self-employed
-Have dog handling experience
-Commit to a minimum of 6 months
-i Phone user with sufficient data (to use our app)
-Non-smoker
-Be confident to walk dogs on/off the lead
-Be experienced with various sized dogs, and have an understanding of dogs and their behaviour
-Enjoy outdoor walks, in all weather conditions
