Job description:
To ensure the health and well being of the farms animals
To support the Care Farm Lead with engaging the co-workers in farm related activities
To ensure the health and safety of co-workers
To interact with co-workers
Ideally experienced with working with animals
Experience or work with children and young people who have disabilities and additional needs will be an advantage
This is a manual job that requires the applicant to be able to work outside in all weathers, caring for a variety of animal and will include bending, stretching, lots of standing and walking in wet and muddy conditions (PPE is provide as well as manual handling training)
Minimum requirements:
Two References, Enhanced DBS check and able to undertake online courses in safeguarding, prevent and other related topics.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £11.44 per hour
Expected hours: 1 – 10 per week
