Job Summary
We are looking for housekeepers to join us preparing holiday cottages in the Peak District. You will be based in Bakewell, and working in small housekeeping teams, will travel out to the cottages to play a vital role in ensuring a clean and welcoming home-away-from-home for guests. Duties
- Perform cleaning tasks such as dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming
- Change linens and towels, and restock bathrooms, kitchens etc. as needed
- Ensure all cottages are well-maintained and sanitized according to standards and process
- Collaborate with the team to investigate and write down any maintenance issues
- Uphold high standards of cleanliness and presentation throughout the cottage
- Drive and park our vehicles with care and consideration for passengers, other road-users and the wider public
Qualifications
- Previous experience in housekeeping within a holiday cottage or hospitality setting is preferred
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment
- Attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills, including writing and the use of technology on phones, tablets; and a customer-oriented approach
- Ability to work well as part of a team, as well as independently
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as required
- Full, clean UK driving licence for manual gearbox vehicles
